Description:

CrystalView USB Remote User Kit allows you to position your USB Device up to 1000 feet away from your computer using common twisted-pair CAT5 cabling. The CrystalView CAT5 USB is the KVM extender of choice for businesses that need to extend and operate a USB computer, server, or KVM switch from a great distance. The CrystalView CAT5 USB makes this possible by the use of standard CAT5 cable. You can fully operate and control a USB computer or server from as far away as 1,000 feet using standard CAT5 cable. The CrystalView CAT5 USB supports all analog VGA video. Access to any USB device from your computer is made convenient in a variety of situations. You can remotely access and control computers in a data centre from your desk. You can remove computers from hazardous industrial environments or locations vulnerable from theft (of hardware or data) and put them in a dedicated host room, controllable from anywhere. Heat and noise is reduced, desk and floor space is increased. Computers can even be moved into a central location for easy maintenance. Multiple USB devices can be communicate through the extender when used with a standard USB Hub. For example USB Keyboard, USB Mouse in addition to a USB Printer can be linked with a USB Hub then all this equipment linked via the USB Extender to the Computer over a single Cat5 UTP Cable. Alternatively additional extenders can also be used connected to the same computers USB Port via a standard USB Hub Easy to install, easy to use - CrystalView is ideal for medium and long distance communication for USB devices. The CrystalView CAT5 USB allows you to position a CPU up to 1,000 feet away from the KVM station using common twisted pair CAT5 cable. Video equalization and gain controls on the remote unit adjust brightness and clarity to compensate for image quality loss over long cable lengths.
