ZPE-CO-2XNSR-48-16288HA ZPE ZPE-Coordinator 2X-8832NSR-HA5 ZPE Systems Nodegrid platform Coordinator set Paired HA Appliance
Description:
ZPE ZPE-COORDINATOR-A2X-8832NSR-HA5 ZPE Systems Nodegrid platform Coordinator set Paired HA Appliance setup A ZPE Nodegrid Coordinator is the primary node in a Nodegrid clustering setup, acting as the central management point for enrolling and controlling peer devices. It provides a unified interface for managing multiple Nodegrid appliances, streamlining configuration, and ensuring high availability within Data Centers or Branch networks. This main node that manages a cluster of other Nodegrid devices (peers) It acts as the central point for configuration, monitoring, and security across the network infrastructure. Licensing: Separately and dependant on the enterprise size. Requires specific live licenses to cover the HA and device/end point number. Options on configuration. Flexible configuration: For the most suitable Co-ordinator we customise the equipment configuration set for your requirements, security and access capabilities. Allowing for later expansion is also possible
Features:
Key Aspects of a ZPE Coordinator System:
Role and Function: Manages the cluster, oversees network operations, and ensures communication between nodes.
Cluster Management: In a Star configuration, the coordinator holds the list of all peers, providing centralized visibility and access.
Functions: It acts as the central hub for enrolling peer devices, managing connections, and authorizing access, particularly in star configurations.
Redundancy: To prevent a single point of failure, a second node can be added as a backup coordinator.
Multi-Clustering: A Coordinator can connect to other clusters to act as a "super coordinator," providing centralized visibility across multiple, geographically distributed sites.
Enrollment: Enables new peers to join the cluster, allowing for easy expansion and management.
Setup: The first unit in a cluster is typically set as the Coordinator, with subsequent units added as peers, often requiring a shared cluster name and Pre-Shared Key (PSK).
Clustering Types:
Star: One node acts as the central coordinator for all other peers.
Mesh: All units can see each other, but a coordinator is used for initial enrollment.
